Hi, I'm Yulia — founder of Shevchenko Immigration, based in Calgary, Alberta.
I'm a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB), licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), with over four years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in Immigration from Queen's University. But before any of that — I was an immigrant myself.
I was born and raised in Lviv, Ukraine, and have lived in three countries before calling Canada home. I know what it feels like to start over somewhere new — the excitement, the uncertainty, the paperwork that never seems to end, and the moments where you just need someone to tell you honestly where you stand. That experience is not background detail. It shapes how I work with every single client.

It became clear that this — helping people navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives — is where I could make the greatest impact. Immigration is not just a legal process. For most people, it is the beginning of an entirely new chapter, and it deserves to be handled with care.
I approach every case with empathy, honesty, and real attention to detail. Whether you are planning a temporary move, sponsoring a family member, or working toward permanent residence, my goal is to make the process feel clear and manageable — not overwhelming. You will always know where things stand, what comes next, and why.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is time with my husband and our one-year-old daughter, Mila. We spend as much time as we can in the mountains — which, living in Calgary, means we are pretty lucky. You will find me hiking year-round, unwinding in hot yoga, or dancing whenever there is music playing.
A clear process, every time.
